This notice describes what the SaaS price history section of SaaS Reference (https://saasreference.com/prices) does with data about you. It is written from the site's code, so it lists only what actually happens.

No personal data collected

This section does not collect personal data. It has no forms, no sign-ups, no newsletter and no user accounts, and it does not ask for your name or e-mail address. Price changes can be followed through the RSS feed, which your feed reader fetches like any other page. The privacy notice for SaaS Reference as a whole is on the SaaS Reference privacy page.

Cookies and local storage

The site's code sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. There are no consent banners because there is nothing to consent to. Your browser may cache pages and fonts; that is standard caching, not tracking.

Analytics

Pages load the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon script. It is cookie-free and does not use client-side state to identify visitors; it reports aggregate page views, referrers and performance metrics to Cloudflare, which processes them on the site's behalf. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

Server logs

The site is served as static files by its hosting provider (Cloudflare). Like any web host, the provider receives your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user-agent string to deliver the page and protect the service, and may keep short-lived access logs for security and diagnostics. The site does not keep its own visitor logs.

Links to other sites

Evidence links go to vendors' pricing pages, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine and vendors' announcements. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Embeds of our charts on other websites are served from this domain and are covered by this notice; the embedding site is responsible for its own page.

Changes to this notice

This notice is updated when the site's code changes what it collects. The current version is always at this address.
